Dawkins Group, who are based in Luton, Bedfordshire, have been successfully trading for over 35 years, during this time we have built up a reputation for top class delivery on time or in fact ahead of programme on all projects that we undertake.
Geographically we work within a large area with a typically travelling radius of 90 minutes from our head office in Luton however we do cover a larger part of the country as dictated by our clients who we never want to disappoint.
Typically Dawkins Group has circa 15 live projects running at any one time and so usually we have a live project within a few miles or 15 – 30 minutes of any future projects and so we have a very healthy and strong presence plus supply chain in all areas.
Such is the time restraints or keenness of our existing and potential future clients to secure our services we often find we negotiate tenders, go open book or contract on a re-measure basis on many of our projects and have done this successfully with many clients for many years. However if competitive tendering is required we are always happy to be considered for any scheme.
Dawkins Basements often works with its clients early in a project and most often during the design and tender period to comment on the existing or proposed sequence of works and programme plus to highlight and propose various value engineering options or to simplify a design or propose a more adequate design or construction alternative.
We have always moved with the demands of the industry and will continue to do this as evermore these days the demands are for tenders to be turnaround quickly or for the immediate starts on site and that’s why we always insure we have the capacity to do this.
Dawkins Basements has the added benefit of being part of the Dawkins Group and can simplify many projects by combining different operations in one package often reducing costs, programme and the potential for disputes arising from using multiple contractors early on in any project.
This means Dawkins Basements can call on Dawkins Group for its various division’s which are the: Demolition Division – Structural Works Division – Construction Division.
Dawkins Basements has the added benefit also of its Haulage Division & Plant Hire Division which means we never need to be reliant on subcontractors in these most crucial areas for a smooth operation.
We have a large in house team of long serving multi skilled, dedicated and motivated employees backed up by our core management structure, our success has been from building on this team and its continued training and also the continued investment in the latest plant and equipment available.
